Pottery
From the first form on the potter’s wheel to freehand clay work – discover traditional and experimental ceramic techniques and create individual vessels and objects.

- Wheel throwing – On the potter’s wheel, vessels such as cups, bowls, vases, or plates are formed in clear, symmetrical round shapes.
- Pinching technique – Hand-formed bowls, cups, and small figures convey the unmistakable charm of handmade ceramics.
- Coiling technique – Allows the building of vessels and sculptural forms in almost any shape and size – from simple to playful.
- Slab building – Rolled-out clay slabs are used to create vessels, plates, and decorative objects with clean lines.
- Sgraffito – Patterns and illustrations are carved into an engobe layer, creating fine, high-contrast decorative surfaces on ceramics.
- Ceramic painting – Pre-made ceramics are painted with a wide range of glazes, engobes, and ceramic colors to create a truly personal unique piece.
