Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-26

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

What we collect and why

  • Bookings, memberships and inquiries. When you book a course, sign up for a membership, buy a gift card or send an inquiry, we process the name, email, and any details you provide. We need this to deliver the service and fulfil our contract with you.
  • Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details — these go directly to Stripe. We keep a record of the transaction (amount, date, product) for accounting.
  • Email. We send booking confirmations and service-related messages through Resend.
  • Analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is cookieless, collects no personal data, and does not track you across sites. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (e.g. keeping you signed in to a booking). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, so no consent banner is needed.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email
  • Sanity — content management
  • Plausible — anonymous analytics

Our database is hosted on our own infrastructure on servers located in the EU. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and accounting records for as long as required by Swiss law (generally 10 years for accounting documents). Other data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Contact us at atelieryuniku@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version always applies, with the date shown above.
