Open Atelier & Creative Hangouts

We love inspiration, community, and new faces. That’s why we regularly open our doors and invite you to enjoy crafting over tea or a glass of sparkling wine. Bring along a project you’ve already started or let yourself be inspired to begin something new. At the Creative Hangout, everything revolves around a shared technique or a specific craft, while at the Open Atelier you’re free to choose from the full variety of our crafts.

Independent Work in the Studio

This is not a guided course.
You work independently on your own projects at your own pace.
Our team will introduce you to the studio and is available for occasional, on-demand support if needed.
As we each have expertise in different areas, we recommend coming on the following days if you know you may need some support:

Wednesday	Wheel throwing, Sewing
Friday	Painting, Printmaking, Sewing, Knitting, Embroidery
Saturday	Hand-building pottery, Natural cosmetics, Candle making

Every Wednesday and Friday from 1:00–8:00 PM, and every Saturday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Each session lasts 3 hours – additional hours can be booked for CHF 10 per hour
You can join at any time during opening hours. However, please plan your visit so that you start no later than 3 hours before closing in order to make full use of your session
Spontaneous visitors are also welcome without a reservation and can pay the entry fee on site via TWINT. As places are limited, we recommend booking in advance – this helps us with planning and ensures you have a spot reserved

Materials are not included in the session price
Clay and other materials can be purchased on site
For specific or larger material quantities, please contact us in advance to check availability, or feel free to bring your own materials*
Purchased materials can be paid for via TWINT – please note that we do not accept cash
For ceramic pieces, at least two sessions are required, as bisque firing is needed before glazing

*Clay and glazes must be sourced through the studio, as they are matched to our firing curves.

This offer is open to everyone – no membership required
Prior experience in your craft is an advantage, but not a requirement. Anyone who enjoys independent, experimental making is welcome
Whether you are looking for community or some quiet time: both are possible. The studio is a space to be inspired by like-minded people – or to intentionally take a break
The Open Atelier is also a great way to get to know the space before deciding on a membership
Families: Bring your child (up to 12 years old) free of charge.
