APERITIF PLATTER WORKSHOP: Hand-Build a Charcuterie Board with Slab Technique

Design your own ceramic charcuterie board for cheese, antipasti, tapas, and fruit. Served in style, it becomes a real eye catcher at your next apéro.
In this workshop you'll learn the principles of slab building and shape your clay into an organically curved board. Afterward, you'll design your piece individually. Through decorations with stamps, small clay appliqués, or a personal engraving, your board becomes a true one of a kind.
After the workshop, we take over the next steps. We let your board dry slowly and fire it for the first time. We then apply a transparent glaze and fire it a second time.

- Transparent glazing and firing done by our team
- Finished serving board ready for pickup after approx. 4 weeks
- After firing and glazing, the serving board is food safe and also suitable for serving oil

Francesca is an architect and co-founder of atelier yuniku*. For more than 20 years she has been exploring medicinal plants, textiles and dyeing techniques, natural cosmetics and a wide range of crafts. She approaches her work with great care and attention, creating a gentle, compassionate atmosphere where people can learn, experiment and feel at ease.
