In this course, you will learn the entire process of pottery on the wheel: from wedging your clay and centering it, to throwing, trimming, and finally glazing your pieces.
By the end of the three weeks, you’ll take home four to five objects, such as bowls, cups, and a plate, all created entirely by your own hands.

Course Structure:

  • Week 1 – Forming (3 hours): Wedging, centering, and throwing on the wheel. We aim to complete two bowls and a cup.
  • Week 2 – Trimming & Plate (3 hours): Trim the pieces from last week and create a plate.
  • Week 3 – Glazing (3 hours): Apply glazes and finish all your pieces, ready for firing.

Good to know:

  • No prior experience needed; suitable for beginners.
  • The course is conducted in English.
  • All materials and tools are provided.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
  • Short nails are recommended for easier clay handling.
  • A small apéro, coffee, and tea are included.
