Textile Crafts
  • Tailoring – From free sewing to tailoring garments and accessories from a pattern.
  • Needlework: embroidery, crochet & knitting, hand sewing – With needle, thread, and yarn, you can create garments and accessories or embellish them with decorative stitches and personal details.
  • Punch needle – Yarn is punched through stretched fabric with a special needle, creating soft, tufted surfaces for wall hangings, cushions, and small artworks.
  • Felting – Wool is worked into firm felt through rubbing, pressing, or needling, from which bags, hats, jewelry, or three-dimensional figures can be made.
  • Weaving on a hand loom – Threads are interlaced to create structured textiles for wall hangings, cushion covers, and table runners.
  • Manual dyeing techniques: batik and shibori – Fabric is folded, tied, or knotted and then dyed, creating patterns on textiles.
  • Macramé & knotting techniques – Cords are knotted in structured patterns to create wall hangings, plant hangers, and decorative objects with a distinctive woven texture.
