Bookbinding, Paper Crafts and Lettering

- Bookbinding – Individual pages are bound into books and sketchbooks using traditional techniques such as sewn binding or adhesive binding.
- Box making – Decorative papers and cardboard are used to create boxes, cases, and containers through precise handcrafting.
- Paper folding / Origami – Through precise folds, a single sheet of paper is transformed into figurative or geometric forms.
- Paper cutting (Scherenschnitt) – Cut paper motifs develop into delicate, graphic compositions with strong contrast between positive and negative space.
- Paper marbling / Ebru* – Special pigments are applied to water or a surface, creating unique, organic patterns on paper.
- Collage – Different paper fragments, materials, and prints are combined into new visual compositions.
- Paper objects – Paper is used to create three-dimensional works that oscillate between image, sculpture, and material exploration.
- Calligraphy / Lettering – The art of drawing letters with a pen or brush, either to write text in a decorative way or to create expressive letter-based compositions.
