MATCHA OR CEREAL NERIKOMI BOWL: Pottery Workshop
Send inquiry

A relaxed, creative event centered around making ceramic bowls using the nerikomi technique - combined with time to chat, connect, and enjoy the moment together.

Colored clays are used to build layered, marbled patterns, creating soft natural flows inside the material. The focus is on experimenting with color, texture, and form in a calm and hands-on way.

The process begins by choosing 2–3 clay colors in earthy tones. These are then layered and combined to create unique patterns using the nerikomi technique. The bowl is shaped by hand using the pinching technique.

To finish, the surface is gently carved and refined, revealing the hidden patterns within the clay. The result is a one-of-a-kind bowl with a raw, organic character. After the event, each piece is glazed and fired for you.
