A multi-day beginner painting course in Zurich-Wiedikon. Learn the basics of painting with acrylic or gouache (your choice) in a small group setting at a local art studio.

This course is designed for complete beginners (ages 12+ and adults) with no previous experience who want to learn how to paint from scratch. Step by step, you will learn how to use paint, mix colors, create simple compositions, and build up a painting from the first sketch to a finished work.

Over the course, you will create several small paintings and one larger final piece. You will be guided individually through each stage, from basic exercises to completing your own finished artwork.

All materials are included. The focus is on hands-on practice and a clear, accessible introduction to painting in a supportive studio environment.

Pablo Grossmann

Pablo is an architect with training in art and experiential education, and has several years of experience designing learning processes in group and community settings. He has explored a wide range of artistic and craft techniques over many years, including painting, sewing, weaving, carving, embroidery, and felting. In his teaching, he focuses on a practical and experimental approach to creative processes, with a strong emphasis on helping people overcome hesitation and get past the fear of the blank page, while building confidence in working with materials, simple techniques, and personal expression.
